About OMOP Data Marts
These OMOP data marts can save researchers’ time otherwise spent collecting or correcting data. Their efficiency is maximized through repeated use.
The MSDW team can provide access to your custom data mart via ATLAS or via a direct connection to the MSDW database on Minerva.
Each data mart is customized to your cohort inclusion criteria:
- Identified or de-identified or both
- Updated dynamically or static cohort
Patients’ membership in your cohort can be either static or recomputed dynamically as new data are loaded to MSDW.
The MSDW team can offer you a PHI or de-identified version of your OMOP data mart, or both!

Custom Data Mart
Your custom OMOP data mart is built using a patient cohort defined by your research study’s inclusion and/or exclusion criteria. The OMOP data mart can contain PHI data, de-identified data, or both for your patient cohort of interest.
