Leaf Application Status and Roadmap

Last Updated: December 13, 2021

Leaf is currently in beta release at Mount Sinai and is available for user testing. Features and functionality are regularly updated: scheduled maintenance takes place every Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Next scheduled maintenance is Thursday, January 6, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Scheduled maintenance will develop tools to make metrics reports for Leaf and ATLAS usage. All users are encouraged to save their work and exit Leaf during scheduled maintenance periods.

Leaf currently supports only the following query domains:

  • Conditions (diagnoses) using ICD-10-CM
  • Procedures using CPT
  • Demographics (such as age, ethnicity, gender, race, and vital status)
  • Vitals
  • Visit Location

Leaf beta contains the following known bugs:

  • Multiple important clinical domains are unsupported
  • Queries that run longer than 1 minute are terminated
  • Age is often missing from the Patient List view

The following improvements to Leaf are planned for the 4th quarter of 2021:

  • Support queries of all labs and drugs (prescriptions)
  • Fix known bugs
  • Enhance Leaf development and configuration process, improving support to Leaf users

Thank you for providing feedback in Leaf’s beta release. Read Leaf’s Tutorial for usage documentation. If you are experiencing an access issue or error within the application, please submit a ticket.
