Patricia Kovatch, Professor & Dean for Scientific Computing and Data, has been awarded the prestigious Jacobi Medallion Award, one the highest honors bestowed by The Mount Sinai Alumni Association.

“The Jacobi Medallion is a highly regarded and competitive award given to honor a member of the Mount Sinai community who, through long-term service (typically 10 years or more), has made exceptional contributions to the fields of clinical medicine or biomedical research, or has exemplified extraordinary dedication to The Mount Sinai Community”. The Mount Sinai Community consists of several highly accomplished and influential physicians and researchers, and only a handful are nominated and then awarded for their impactful work.

Please join us in congratulating Patricia in this exceptional achievement through her contributions to the Mount Sinai Community.
