Data2Evidence

Introduction to Data2Evidence

We are pleased to announce the deployment of Data2Evidence, a new cohort query tool developed by Data4Life to support research across Mount Sinai.

Datasets from across the Mount Sinai Health System are integrated through Artificial Intelligence Ready Mount Sinai (AIR·MS), a cloud-based, multimodal data platform. Using Data2Evidence, researchers can browse available datasets and request access to them.

The platform houses both structured and unstructured clinical data from a wide range of sources, including electronic health records, lab results, imaging metadata, and free-text documents such as clinician notes. It enables users to ingest data, monitor data quality, and store information with fine-grained access controls.

Researchers can define patient cohorts by filtering and grouping individuals based on specific attributes, enabling more efficient and targeted studies. Built-in notebooks allow users to run lightweight statistical analyses, with additional preconfigured and extensible analyses available through a plugin framework.
