AIR•MS: Artificial Intelligence Ready Mount Sinai
- The Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Health at Mount Sinai (HPI・MS) constitutes an extraordinary international academic collaboration between the Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Engineering in Potsdam, Germany, and the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City, USA.
- The goal of HPI・MS is to turn the promise of digital health into reality by being the driver of innovation that will revolutionize the way in which people think about their personal health and health systems, generating real impact in people’s lives.
- AIR•MS is an in-memory data warehouse which stores clinical data for artificial intelligence analysis. It is extremely fast, as data is stored in random access memory (RAM) rather than on computer hard drives.
- AIR•MS provides a platform where researchers can access the vast datasets held at Mount Sinai for data science and machine learning endeavors. It will enable biomedical research in digital health and AI, accelerating medical discoveries leading to better patient outcomes.
- We hosted our inaugural AIR•MS training session on April 24th, 2025. You can view the recording here. You can also download a PDF of the presentation here.
