GTex

The Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) project, initiated in 2010, has built a comprehensive public resource to study tissue-specific gene expression and regulation. The latest GTEx V8 data set represents the largest atlas of human gene expression and genotype data so far, containing whole genome sequencing (WGS) data (~32x depth) on 838 postmortem donors and 17,382 RNA-seq samples across 54 tissue sites and 2 cell lines.

The GTEx portal (here) now includes a histological image viewer, a functional annotation browser and H3K27ac ChIP-seq data. Researchers can also apply to access the biospecimens that were biobanked as part of the project for further investigation here.
The GTEx data (version 8) were uploaded to the Data Ark on 05/15/20. Included are a range of public data sets summarized on the GTEx portal here.
To use this data, NO DUA form is required, you can access the data set at the following path on Minerva –/sc/arion/projects/data-ark/Public_Unrestricted/gtex_analysis_v8 or you can load module $ module load dataark to see the path variables.
