Data2Evidence

Introduction to Data2Evidence (D2E)

We are pleased to announce the deployment of Data2Evidence (D2E), a new cohort query tool developed by Data4Life (D4L) to support research across Mount Sinai.

Datasets from across the Mount Sinai Health System are integrated through Artificial Intelligence Ready Mount Sinai (AIR·MS), a cloud-based, multimodal data platform. Using D2E, researchers can browse available datasets and request access to them.

The platform houses both structured and unstructured clinical data from a wide range of sources, including electronic health records, lab results, imaging metadata, and free-text documents such as clinician notes. It enables users to ingest data, monitor data quality, and store information with fine-grained access controls.

Researchers can define patient cohorts by filtering and grouping individuals based on specific attributes, enabling more efficient and targeted studies. Built-in notebooks allow users to run lightweight statistical analyses, with additional preconfigured and extensible analyses available through a plugin framework. You can find out how to prepare data for research with D2E Integrate.
