Congratulations to Grace, Tom, Alon, and James for the publication of their review “Looking beyond the intervertebral disc: the need for behavioral assays in models of discogenic pain” in the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences!
ORS Spine Section Symposium at TERMIS
Dr. Iatridis co-chaired the “Challenges and opportunities in annulus fibrosis repair” symposium with Dr. Zhen Li. The symposium was held at the TERMIS-EU meeting in Davos, Switzerland, June 26-27.
The group also enjoyed the beautiful Switzerland scenery!
Annual ORL Summer Rowboating in Central Park
The ORL embarked on its annual rowboat adventure in Central Park on August 4th, 2017!
See this post from the Huang Laboratory Page for more!
Rose Long defends her dissertation!
Congratulations to Rose Long for successfully defending her dissertation! Rose was very productive during her PhD studies and developed many elegant methods for evaluating tissue engineering repair materials for injured intervertebral discs. Her dissertation was entitled “Repair of Herniated Intervertebral Discs: Designing and Translating Annulus Fibrosus Sealants”.
Summer Celebrations
The Iatridis lab celebrates the start of the summer and welcomes summer students at the Boat Basin Cafe.
ISSLS Annual Meeting – May 29-June 2
