Shimron Brown

My name is Shimron Brown. Born in Bronx, NY as one of five boys. Recently I have worked alongside Dr. Daniel Hrubes on his research investigating the judgment of deceptions. Presented this research at the Eastern Psychological Association 2017. I had previously volunteered to serve as a combat soldier in the Israeli Defense Force within the Nachal Brigade. Currently I am enrolled at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, majoring in psychology with minors in philosophy and chemistry. During this time I am also fortunate enough to be working in an internship under Dr. Chehade at the Mount Sinai Center for Eosinophilic Disorders.

I am interested in attending a medical school with the hopes of becoming an M.D. I spend my free time reading and engaging in various outdoor activities, such as: hiking, kayaking, and swimming. I hope to employ my outlook, garnered from, both time in the military, as well as, the time spent around patients in various situations, to become a physician in a career that is both, involved with science, as well as helping others.
