Alissa Knopf

Volunteer

Alissa Knopf has been volunteering with Dr. Chehade since the summer of 2018.  She is currently a high school senior at The Frisch School in Paramus, NJ.  She is very interested in the sciences and eventually wants to become an allergist/immunologist.  In her spare time, Alissa is also a volunteer at the Tenafly Nature Center, co-captain of her school’s fencing team, plays goalie on the girls’ ice hockey team, and participates in Envision Shakespeare competitions.  Besides her love of biology, she has an all-consuming obsession of dinosaurs and enjoys reading, visiting national parks, and bike riding.
