Various research trials are being conducted at the MSCED. One of our foremost priorities at MSCED is to advance the knowledge available around Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders (EGIDs).

We design and conduct translational* Research Studies related to the pathogenesis of EGIDs and non-invasive tests for EGIDs and identification of food triggers in EGIDs. Initiated by the MSCED, we also participate in Clinical Trials so that we may offer our patients with otherwise unavailable and cutting edge treatments options.

*Translational research is the conversion of basic science research into better ways to diagnose, treat and prevent disease in the clinical setting. Translational research is aimed at taking what we learn in the lab and applying it to how we treat and diagnose our patients.
