Medical Assistant and Research Coordinator

Michelle is a medical assistant and research coordinator on the MSCED team. She is an MPH student at NYU School of Global Public Health concentrating in Global Health and Epidemiology. Michelle earned a Bachelor’s degree at the City College of New York (CUNY) majoring in International Relations and Psychology. She also complete postbaccalaureate program at Jefferson in Philadelphia and will be applying to medical school. Outside university, Michelle teaches Arabic, religion and theology at an elementary school level. Michelle also teaches young children how to swim. As a native New Yorker, she loves exploring New York City with her friends and family. She is passionate about serving underserved communities and promoting diversity within STEM fields. She has a strong interest in academic medicine and global health.
