Liberty began her medical support work as a scribe in 2020, after extensive training, and her encounter notes are being utilized in research regarding eosinophilic esophagitis and gastritis. Liberty graduated from Tiffin University with a BCJ in Forensic Psychology in 2020 and completed a Master’s degree in Philosophy, majoring in Race, Ethnicity and Conflict at Trinity College, Dublin in 2022. Her thesis, “The Student as Tourist: The Commodification and Subsequent Bureaucratic Abandonment of the Student Body,” is intended to point to the ineffectiveness of academia and the state to provide students with the resources they need to achieve their goals. As an undergraduate, Liberty researched statistical significance of racially-coded and gender-coded names, as well as the placebo effect and potential significance in mental performance. She was an educational aid to students with mental and physical disabilities, providing support in their studies. She worked as the head of the Student Resource Center and was for two years the Lead Title IX Student Ambassador. Having varied work experiences in the private sector, from retail to social work to art and theater, Liberty approaches everything with a focus on those who are not being fully served by their environment.
