CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR POSITIONS AVAILABLE

 This clinical research coordinator position is in the Division of Allergy and Immunology, Department of Pediatrics, at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.  The coordinator will be working in in conjunction with a team of research coordinators and physicians at the Mount Sinai Center for Eosinophilic Disorders (MSCED). The candidate will assist in the daily activities of clinical research studies, obtains informed consent; collects, maintains and organizes study information. Assists in preparing grant applications and documents (for e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office).

 

Primary Duties:

The candidate’s primary duties will include; recruiting and screening study patients, collecting and recording study data, obtaining informed consent under minimal supervision of the investigator(s) and educating participants regarding study requirements. He or she will also assist in the activities related to clinical research studies including but not limited to: administering lifestyle questionnaires, assisting in preparing grant applications, IRB/GCO for submission and filings, maintaining source documents and subject files in accordance with hospital procedures, ensuring accurate and complete compilation of subject data through chart reviews, processing and shiping clinical specimens as required by the protocol.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work in the field of eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders (EGIDs). The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary and collaborative research team within a dynamic research environment located in at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. This is a unique opportunity to develop research experience and expertise in this growing area of EGIDs.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold at minimum a Bachelor’s degree and at least  2 years of prior research experience.
