Ziche Chen is a graduate student in the Swirski Lab, joining in January 2025. Originally from Nanjing, China, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Vanderbilt University in 2022. His research focuses on understanding how stress-responsive neuronal circuits mediate immune responses, survival, and cardiovascular health using a non-invasive TRAP2 mouse model. Outside of research, Ziche enjoys boxing, playing guitar, and reading. He is currently trying—unsuccessfully—to win Broadway lotteries.
