Abbey is a PhD student studying immunology at Mount Sinai. She completed her B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Boston University and received her M.S. in Clinical Research from Boston University School of Medicine. Abbey worked for several years as a research assistant in a mucosal immunology lab before starting her PhD. She is interested in studying the effects of lifestyle factors on the immune system. Outside of the lab, Abbey is an avid reader and a Boston Bruins fan.
