Henrike Janssen, MD
Dr Henrike Janssen obtained her Medical Degree at Medical School Hannover, Germany and completed her Residency in Anesthesiology at Medical School Hannover and University Hospital Heidelberg, Germany. Her doctoral, as well as post-doctoral, studies focused on the influence of perioperative inflammatory stress on cardiovascular disease. She joined the Swirski lab with a Fellowship from the German Research Foundation (DFG) in June 2019 to study the impact of time-dependent metabolic challenges on leukocyte distribution, hematopoiesis and its relevance for cardiovascular disease.
