Current Projects

The following is a list of projects being conducted in the Liver Research Laboratory of Dr. Scott Friedman:

  • Characterization of cell specific gene expression, and cell-cell interactions in mouse models of non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and human liver disease.

            Investigator: Shuang Wang, PhD

  • Epigenetic regulation of stellate cell biology:

           Investigator: Shuang Wang, PhD

  • Bioinformatics-based identification of novel pro-fibrogenic signaling pathways and druggable targets in hepatic stellate cells.
