Grant and Loan Application Examples
In planning your own funding application, it can be helpful to seek examples from others who have successfully obtained grants. With their permission, we have provided a number of examples of applications from colleagues at Mount Sinai who have submitted successful applications for grants and / or loan repayment programs. We have removed personal or identifiable information from these, and you can access them below to help you with your own applications.
You can also to find examples of NIH applications via the NIH RePORTER. Put “Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai into the “Organization” field”. This will return a list of all supplements at your institution, sorted by PI. It doesn’t differentiate between different kinds of supplements, so you will need to skim the abstracts to see what kind they are, but it gives you a place to start. Once you’ve identified PIs of diversity supplements on your campus, you can then get in touch with them to see if they have other advice or perhaps could let you see their grant text.
