Welcome to the Dominguez-Sola Lab
We are interested in understanding how cancer initiation shapes the biological features and natural history of this disease. We specifically use B cell lymphomas as a study model. B cell lymphomas arise in highly dynamic cellular compartments and constitute an unparalleled system to study the interplay between oncogenes, the cellular context, and tissue dynamics during cancer initiation. To this end, we develop novel in vivo and in vitro experimental strategies that combine our knowledge of cancer biology, immunology, and mouse genetics. (Read more in “About Our Research”)
Our laboratory is affiliated with the Department of Oncological Sciences, the Tisch Cancer Institute and the Precision Immunology Institute at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in New York City. You can find us in Leon & Norma Hess Center for Science and Medicine.
