GHEPI

The Global Health and Emerging Pathogens Institute (Director: Dr. A. García-Sastre) is the intellectual and physical hub for multi-disciplinary research in infectious diseases and the pathogens that cause them. It consists of several investigators that share a common interest in infectious diseases, viral host interactions and biodefense.

The Institute hosts a weekly seminar series which brings together physician scientists, clinicians and basic research scientists from multiple departments across the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai campus. This activity is eligible for continued medical education (CME) credits.
