Dr. Mueller is the PAIRED project co-director. She is a neurologist specializing in headache and autonomic dysfunction.

Mary Catherine George, PhD

Kait may be our most versatile team member. She conducts autonomic testing and conducts screening and visits for all our research studies.

Karina is a research coordinator focused on the EPPIC-Net study of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.

Monica Rivera Mindt, PhD

Professor

Principal Investigator

Dr. Rivera Mindt is a neuropsychologist with dual appointment at Mount Sinai and Fordham University. She is the principal investigator for the SALUD, ADNI and BEYONDD studies. Dr. Rivera Mindt is an expert in cognitive disparities and the PAIRED Project team is proud to collaborate with her in this work.

Dr. Benn directs the statistical plan for PAIRED Project studies.

Steven Lawrence, PhD (c)

Statistical Consultant

Steven is pursuing his PhD in biostatistics at NYU. He helps the PAIRED Project with all things mathy!

Patrick Kwon, MD, MS

Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. Kwon is a neurologist at NYU. He collaborates with the PAIRED Project on studies related to autonomic neuropathy.

Gina left the PAIRED project in June 2023 to attend medical school.

Dr. Nmashie graduated the PAIRED project to begin her pediatrics residency in 2021.

Dr. Vargas was a fabulous research coordinator before leaving us for family medicine residency in 2021.
