New Funding from the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation!

July 20, 2023

Dr. Ji received a Clinical Investigator Award from the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation to investigate the molecular basis of skin squamous cell carcinoma aggression in organ transplant recipients. Dr. Ji also previously received a Physician-Scientist Training Award from Damon Runyon and is thrilled to be working with the foundation once again. Read more hereĀ and here.

Good Luck to Graduating Lab Members and Welcome to New Lab Members!

We bid farewell to three lab members, Aubrey (our very first lab member!), Larry, and Arjun with a fun night of karaoke. Aubrey will be starting her Ph.D. here at Mount Sinai, Larry is off to medical school at Tufts, and Arjun will be pursuing his Ph.D. at UC-Irvine. Raman Receives T32 Fellowship!

Congratulations to our 2nd year Ph.D. student Raman Gill for earning an NIH T32 Fellowship Award in Systems Skin Biology. Raman will focus on skin fibroblast heterogeneity and its implications on inflammatory skin diseases. Congratulations, Raman!

Arjun Successfully Defended his Master’s Thesis!

Congratulations to our MSBS student Arjun Nair for successfully defending his Master’s thesis. Arjun was our first MSBS student and will be heading to UC-Irvine to pursue his Ph.D. studies in the fall. We toasted his success after his defense. Congratulations, Arjun!
