The mission of the Daehn Laboratory is to discover new and unique aspects of biology and to apply these insights to prevent and treat kidney disease.
We are taking a multidisciplinary approach to address important biomedical questions regarding kidney disease development with the goal to identify key biomarkers and therapeutic targets to help predict and prevent progression.
There are two ongoing research programs:
- Glomerular endothelial dysfunction and cell-cell crosstalk in kidney disease
- Kidney disease biomarker discovery and validation
