  • Postdoctoral Fellow
    • Research: The Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Institute (BMEII) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct research in the areas of wearable sensors and electronics. The candidate will have exciting opportunities to apply diverse and advanced engineering concepts in materials, mechanics, circuits, and manufacturing toward improving healthcare.
    • Responsibilities:
      • Design, fabrication, and functionality validation of wearable sensors and electronics
      • Collection, analysis, interpretation, and management of collected sensor data
      • Manuscript preparation, conference participation, contributions to grant applications, and mentorship of students.
    • Requirements: The candidate should have a Ph.D. or have defended their doctoral thesis in one of the following: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field. Expertise in two or more of the following areas is highly desirable: human-machine interfaces, flexible electronics, circuit design, signal processing, and data analysis. Special considerations will be given for candidates with previous experience in clinical studies and sensor studies involving human subjects.
