Lauren Lepow, MD, PhD, Investigator, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry

Dr. Lepow is a psychiatrist-data scientist at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed a Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation Fellowship at the Center and has since transitioned to full-time research faculty. She serves as an investigator, study therapist, and therapy supervisor on psychedelic-assisted therapy protocols. With the goal of improving a mechanistic understanding of psychedelic treatments, Dr. Lepow’s specialized research interest is in leveraging artificial intelligence and natural language processing to bring neuroscience research closer to the human experience of healing. She maintains a clinical practice at Mount Sinai where she works dynamically with survivors of trauma.
