Positions

Postdoctoral positions are available in our lab to study inner ear neurosensory cell development, regeneration, and renal development. We use animal models, biochemical, molecular, cellular, developmental, and genomic approaches to investigate how the network of transcription factors/chromatin regulators and gene interactions drive progenitor cell specification, differentiation, maintenance, and regeneration. We also seek to develop novel gene or small molecule candidate therapeutics for hair cell regeneration and hearing.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree and have documented experience and training in developmental and cell biology, mouse models, cell culture, and molecular biology manipulations. Experience with ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, and ATAC-seq is highly desirable. A strong work ethic is required. Please send your resume with the names of 3 references to:  pinxian.xu@mssm.edu.
