About Us
The Kris White Laboratory was founded in 2021, with the purpose of aiding in the counteraction and preparation against pandemic level viral threats
The White Laboratory is a virology lab located in the Microbiology department of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Our goal as a laboratory and as a member of ISMMS community is to perform research that furthers the public’s understanding of common disease causing pathogens and, allows for the a better determination on the effectiviness of prospective therapies.
To achieve this goal our lab, fully embrace the Mount Sinai core values of Safety, Equity, Agility, Creativity, Empathy and Teamwork in our everyday practice.
