Mechanisms regulating stem cell function in health and disease

The Schaniel laboratory is part of the Black Family Stem Cell Institute, the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Tisch Cancer Institute and the Department of Developmental and Regenerative Biology, and the Mount Sinai Institute for Systems Biomedicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai . We are located on the 24th floor of the Annenberg building (lab space) and the 13th floor of the Icahn Medical Institute building (office), which is situated on the Upper East Side in New York city, one block from the iconic Central Park.
