Benjamin Natelson, MD

Dr. Natelson completed both his undergraduate and his medical degrees at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He then trained in neurology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. He received additional post-doctoral training in Behavioral Medicine (the science of how stress influences disease) at Cornell University’s New York Hospital and at the Walter Reed Institute of Research in Washington, DC. Thereafter, he moved to New Jersey to UMDNJ [now Rutgers] where he advanced through the ranks to Professor of Neurology and Neurosciences. He moved to Mount Sinai Beth Israel to head the Pain & Fatigue Study Center there in 2008. In 2019, he moved his offices and laboratory to the main medical school campus of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he is a Professor of Neurology.
