Angelo received a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Drew University in Madison, NJ. During his undergraduate education, he studied the role of androgen receptor activation on neuronal survival, especially when exposed to high degrees of oxidative stress in vitro.
Angelo is a Master’s student in Biomedical Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Angelo’s project aims to understand better the function of VGF (nerve growth factor inducible) and its metabolites in Glioblastoma growth and therapy resistance.
