– Graduated in Reproductive Biotechnology from Avicenna Research Institute
– My work focuses on hormone-related cancers, with a mission to create accessible and affordable methods for early detection and treatment. By intervening before the disease reaches advanced stages, we can significantly improve patient outcomes
– Hobbies: dancing, playing guitar, singing, and coaching yoga and Zumba. I also love traveling and exploring all the new experiences life has to offer

Thelma Mashaka, PhD (2025 – Present)

– Graduated in Cancer Biology (CAB) from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai
– My work focuses on understansing breast cancer biology and the mechanisms that drive its progression
– Hobbies: When I am not in the lab, you can find me on a foodie adventure, indulging my love for interior design, or exploring new cities and cultures. I’ve also recently started running and am enjoying the challenge!
