Thomas Hildebrandt, PsyD <\/b>Investigator, Professor of Psychiatry<\/p>\n
Dr. Hildebrandt\u00a0<\/b>is a clinical psychologist specializing in treatment and biological basis of eating, weight, and addictive disorders.\u00a0 His research interests include biological basis of anorexia nervosa and avoidant restrictive food intake disorder, contributions of hormones and lipid signals (e.g., endocannabinoids) to eating and anxious behavior\/reward learning, and sex differences in eating and addictive disorders. He uses a range of techniques including neuroimaging, laboratory feeding, and electrophysiology. He is a trained statistician with expertise in methods devised to study heterogeneity\u00a0and novel clinical trial designs.\u00a0 His current focus is on the development of a clinical biobank for eating disorders through the implementation of a living laboratory where patients, clinicians, and researchers work together to develop the next generation of clinical science for the field.<\/p>\n
