Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center (now managing a research portfolio at VA). A renowned expert in the field of trauma, she founded the Traumatic Stress Studies Division at Mount Sinai in 1991, where she conducted groundbreaking research on trauma\u2019s psychological and biological effects.
