Bryn D. Webb, MD
Dr. Bryn Webb is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Genetics & Genomic Sciences and Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is also a member of the Icahn Institute for Genomics and Multiscale Biology. Dr. Webb received her MD degree with Distinction in Research from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Dr. Webb is a graduate of the Combined Pediatrics and Medical Genetics Residency Program and the Clinical Molecular Genetics fellowship at Mount Sinai. She is a practicing clinical geneticist in the Mount Sinai Medical Genetics Faculty Practice Associates. She is Co-Director of the multi-disciplinary Cleft and Craniofacial Program at Mount Sinai, and Co-Director of the Mitochondrial Medicine Program in the Division of Medical Genetics. Research in the Webb laboratory focuses on the study of rare Mendelian disease and congenital anomalies. She has a special research interest in congenital facial weakness, Moebius syndrome, and mitochondrial disorders.

Mingma Sherpa
Mingma Sherpa is a Senior Associate Researcher who has worked in the Webb laboratory since November 2016. She graduated from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana with a Bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. She was born in Nepal and moved to the United States when she was 17 years old. She enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking.
