The laboratory is<br \/>\nalso dedicated to the identification of novel targets for therapies using genomic data from human<br \/>\nsamples and validation in experimental models of liver cancer. The Liver Cancer Program at<br \/>\nMount Sinai is a worldwide leader in the field of genomic profiling, signaling pathway<br \/>\nderegulation and novel target discovery in liver cancer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job description :<\/strong><br \/>\nWe are seeking for a talented and highly motivated full-time bioinformatician to provide support<br \/>\nto the Laboratory, and address its increasing analytical demands. Duties of the position include:<br \/>\n&#8211; Pre-processing of high-density sequencing data (quality control, filtering, etc\u2026), both<br \/>\nfrom next generation sequencing experiments.<br \/>\n&#8211; Sequence annotation, alignment and assembly.
