M\u00e1t\u00e9 G. Kiss obtained an MSc in Medical Biotechnology from the University of P\u00e9cs, Medical School, P\u00e9cs, Hungary, graduating in 2013. He then pursued doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Christoph Binder at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, investigating the effect of systemic vis-\u00e0-vis local complement activation on immune cell function in the context of cardiovascular disease. Having spent half a year as an exchange graduate student in the Swirski lab\u00a0in 2016, Dr Kiss rejoined the group as a postdoctoral fellow back at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in September 2020. His current research focuses on identifying novel neuro-immuno pathways by which adequate sleep modulates adaptive immune responses and studying their impact on cardiovascular disease and autoimmune disorders.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
