John Mindur

John Mindur obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, NJ, USA, where he majored in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry as an undergraduate student. His interest in pursuing immunological research as an undergraduate initially led him to the laboratory of Dr. Kouichi Ito, where he conducted studies in an animal models of multiple sclerosis and performed preclinical studies aimed at enhancing our understanding of FDA-approved MS therapeutics. Upon joining the Harvard Immunology PhD Program in Boston, MA, USA, John joined the laboratory of Dr. Filip Swirski, where he utilized animal models of autoimmune myocarditis and multiple sclerosis to study hematopoietic growth factors in autoimmune disease. He will be defending his PhD thesis in August of 2021.
