With generous funding from the National Institutes of Minority Health Disparities (NIMHD) and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), we are testing the feasibility and acceptability of culturally adapted breast cancer education workshops for African-born women.\u00a0 We have adapted our programs from the evidenced-based Witness Project<\/a>, and developed the culturally and linguistically targeted AWESOME (African Women Ending Stigma on Mammography Exams) workshop.
