Increasing African Immigrant Breast Cancer Screening Study with Wolof-Speaking Women

We are currently conducting confidential interviews to better understand barriers and facilitators to completing breast cancer screening (e.g., mammography), in the Wolof-speaking community in New York City. We are looking for Wolof-speaking women 40 years or older and community leaders 18 years or older who were born in Africa and currently live in NYC to participate in these interviews. Participation will be compensated with a gift card. The interviews will take approximately 30-60 minutes and can be conducted in person or via zoom with our Wolof-speaking research coordinator, Mariama Diop (212-824-7836).
