After earning her B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in visual arts from Fordham University, Emma joined the Icahn School of Medicine as a Ph.D. student. At Fordham she trained in the lab of Dr. Patricio Meneses, studying the role of the human papillomavirus capsid protein L2 in intracellular trafficking. In the Rosenberg lab, she is working to define host factors important for Yellow Fever virus infection by using a variety of different technologies, including single cell RNA-Seq.
