Oded Danziger completed his Ph.D. studies under the supervision of prof. Marcelo Ehrlich and Prof. Eran Bacharach at the Cell Research and Immunology department, Life Sciences faculty, Tel Aviv university (Israel). During his graduate work, Oded explored the interface between cancer cells and viruses, with the goal of understanding viral oncolysis: the ability of certain viruses to kill cancer cells. These studies aimed to advance the development of viral-based therapeutic modalities for prostate cancer. Oded\u2019s work focused on dissecting signal transduction networks that regulate the host response to viral infection; these networks are often also dysregulated in cancer cells. Oded joined the Rosenberg lab as a postdoctoral fellow in November 2018. He is currently developing high throughput experimental and analytical methods to characterize virus-host interactions and innate immune responses.
