The MSDW provides researchers access to data on the over 12 million unique patients in the Mount Sinai Health System Epic EHR, of which nearly 5.5 million of these patients have had an encounter. In total there are over 115 million patient encounters recorded in Epic. Reference OHDSI’s data dictionary for OMOP Common Data Model.

Scientific Computing partners with researchers to advance scientific discovery. While many utilize the custom MSDW queries to analyze patient data and the self-service query tools to access MSDW data on their own, many researchers also utilize services for independent data collection, capture, and analysis.
