Many researchers use REDCap as a clinical data capture tool for studies with functions that include:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Audit trails for tracking data manipulation<\/li>\n<li>Automated export procedures<\/li>\n<li>Seamless data downloads to Excel, PDF, and common statistical packages<\/li>\n<li>A built-in project calendar, scheduling module, reporting tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>REDCap surveys and databases can be linear and straightforward or complex with branching logic and calculated fields.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>An introductory training session for REDCap beginners to set up and begin using REDCap will be held Friday, February 24, from 1:00-2:00 pm. <u><a href=\"https:\/\/mssm.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_daRdfY9GSb6m2175eyR7vA\">Click here<\/a><\/u> to register for the remote training. <\/strong>Zoom link is provided following registration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>An intermediate training session for advanced REDCap users to utilize more complex REDCap features will be held later this spring. <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/labs.icahn.mssm.edu\/minervalab\/rds\/\">Check our website<\/a> for updates on future training sessions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In both sessions, Scientific Computing and Data\u2019s REDCap Specialists will guide you through REDCap functions and features with a brief Q&amp;A to follow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Register for Introductory training on February 24 <u><a href=\"https:\/\/mssm.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_daRdfY9GSb6m2175eyR7vA\">here<\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>REDCap is a secure web application for building and managing online surveys and databases.
