header_text_color=&#8221;#221f72&#8243; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h2>Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">Minerva is HIPAA-compliant (i.e., Protected Health Information [PHI] data will be allowed to be stored and processed on Minerva). <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">All users are required to read the following HIPAA policy and complete the <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 14px\" href=\"https:\/\/hipaaforms.hpc.mssm.edu\/\">Minerva HIPAA Agreement Form<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">\u00a0(<\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\" style=\"font-size: 14px\">Campus network needed or sign in through school VPN if off-campus<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">) annually.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\"><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">All users and Principal Investigators (PIs) on Minerva are required to complete this HIPAA Compliance Agreement <\/span><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">irrespective of individual plans to use PHI on Minerva. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Please read and sign the <a href=\"https:\/\/hipaaforms.hpc.mssm.edu\/\">Minerva HIPAA Agreement Form<\/a>. For authentication, please use your Mount Sinai ID (not email address) and password (both school-mssm account and hospital-mountsinai.org accounts should work), no VIP token needed.<span style=\"font-size: 14px\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px\">The HIPAA form with the authentication is configured against <span style=\"color: #1ba322\"><strong>ALL Mount Sinai ID including School and Hospital IDs.
