The latest GTEx V8 data set represents the largest atlas of human gene expression and genotype data so far, containing whole genome sequencing (WGS) data (~32x depth) on 838 postmortem donors and 17,382 RNA-seq samples across 54 tissue sites and 2 cell lines.[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/labs.icahn.mssm.edu\/minervalab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/342\/2021\/01\/da8.png&#8221; title_text=&#8221;da8&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; min_height=&#8221;269px&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;||||false|false&#8221;][\/et_pb_image][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Access Text&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_line_height=&#8221;1.5em&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>The GTEx portal (<a href=\"https:\/\/gtexportal.org\/home\/\">here<\/a>) now includes a histological image viewer, a functional annotation browser and H3K27ac ChIP-seq data. Researchers can also apply to access the biospecimens that were biobanked as part of the project for further investigation <a href=\"https:\/\/gtexportal.org\/home\/biobank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Access<\/h2>\n<p>Effective from January 22, 2024, you must read, agree and sign the <a href=\"https:\/\/dataarkforms.hpc.mssm.edu\/\">Data Use Agreement <\/a>(you must be logged in through the Mount Sinai campus network or secure remote VPN). Access is granted within 24 hours, and on Minerva, you can load module <strong>$ module load dataark <\/strong>to see the path variables.<\/p>\n<h2>More Information<\/h2>\n<p>The GTEx data (version 8) were uploaded to the Data Ark on 05\/15\/20.
