The Lim Lab (www.thelimlab.com) is dedicated to advancing our understanding of viral pathogenesis: why some people are more susceptible than others, and how various conditions influence disease outcomes in humans. Our research investigates viral infection across cells, animals, human tissues, and clinical settings. By combining in vivo, ex vivo, and patient-based approaches, including animal models, human tissue explants and organoids, and patient-derived samples, we aim to reveal the genetic, cellular and immunological mechanisms that shape viral pathogenesis and host immune responses.
