Dr.Wang\u2019s lab studies the transcriptional regulation of glucose and lipid metabolism in the context of type 2 diabetes (T2D), obesity, Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), and Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). Dr. Wang previously discovered several new transcription factors that regulate hepatic glucose and lipid metabolism. Her recent publications include Cell Metabolism, Journal of Hepatology, Journal of Clinical Investigation, etc (https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/myncbi\/1jCqszge5p3kN \/bibliography\/public\/).<\/p>\n
Dr. Wang is looking for motivated postdoctoral candidates with preferred but not required backgrounds in physiology, metabolism, stem cell biology, animal models, and transcriptional regulation and molecular signaling pathways.<\/p>\n
