\"1226391_Levine\"<\/a>Alice C. Levine, MD<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0is Professor of Medicine and Oncological Sciences in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Bone Diseases at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.\u00a0 She\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>has been a faculty member of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine since 1986 when she completed her Fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism.\u00a0 She divides her time between clinical, teaching and research activities.\u00a0 Her clinical interests are diseases of the pituitary, reproductive and adrenal glands and she publishes extensively in these fields.\u00a0 She is the Co-Director of the Adrenal Center.\u00a0 She is the Course Director for the Second Year Medical School Endocrine Pathophysiology Course and is often cited as one of the outstanding Faculty Teachers by Medical Students, Residents and Fellows.\u00a0 She also mentors students and faculty in clinical and basic science research.<\/p>\n

Alexander Kirschenbaum, MD<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0is Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.\u00a0\u00a0 He is a graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and received his training in both general surgery and urology at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.\u00a0\u00a0Dr. Alexander Kirschenbaum is consistently cited on Top Doctors lists both nationally (Castle Connelly Best Urologists) and locally (New York Magazine Best Doctors). He has been the recipient of numerous awards, notably the American Urological Association and Valentine Fellowships in urologic oncology and the prestigious John K. Lattimer Award of the Kidney and Urology Foundation. Dr. Kirschenbaum continues to be actively involved in research in the field of prostate cancer. Not only is he the co-director of a translational research laboratory at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, but also has been the recipient of Grant awards from the Department of Defense, Martell Foundation, Prostate Cancer Foundation, and Prostate Action, Inc.<\/p>\n

Shen Yao, MD,<\/strong>\u00a0is Senior Research Associate.\u00a0 Dr. Yao was trained in pathology at Shanghai University and has 25 years experience in immunopathology and small animal work.\u00a0\u00a0 He is the Senior Laboratory Manager and oversees all animal and pathology experiments.<\/p>\n

Sudeh Izadmehr, MS,<\/strong>\u00a0is currently a graduate student in the school of Biomedical Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.\u00a0 She is a candidate for a Ph.D. in the field of Clinical Research.\u00a0 Her graduate studies are in the field of prostate cancer, specifically the mechanisms involved in advanced, metastatic prostate cancer with a view toward the development of new therapies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
