High Resolution Exposomics
The High Resolution Exposomics Section was established to provide high-quality, untargeted chemical screening for nutrition, precision medicine and environmental health research. The primary focus of his research team is to overcome the technical challenges in measuring thousands of exogenous and endogenous molecules in a single analytical run. Application of ultra-high-resolution mass spectrometry as a unifying platform for environmental chemical surveillance and bioeffect monitoring in human populations shows it is possible to measure over 100,000 chemical signals that include exposure biomarkers, nutrients, dietary chemicals and associated biological response in a high-throughput and cost-effective manner. These advances provide a major leap in operationalizing the exposome framework.
